Photography

I'm not a professional photographer. However, I like to walk around and take pictures. Again, moving is quite important in this regard. Usually, I am not just standing somewhere waiting for the "perfect perspective". My goal is to tell a story that usually moves through one place at a time. Photo-essays are a matter of speaking and imaging. A perspective where text and pictures go hand in hand. Sometimes I follow people, trying to track their perspective with my camera and develop a story around it. I use the pictures to frame my story and to play with vision and visuality. How we see things and how we are made to see things is what I focus on when taking pictures in China.
